Cruise FAQs

How can I book a cruise with my Royal Holiday membership?

You can visit www.royal-holiday.com or contact your Cruise Advisor, who will guide you step-by-step to find the best itinerary and cruise line.

What’s included and not included in the cruise price with Royal Holiday?

Your fare includes meals, onboard entertainment, basic drinks (water, coffee, tea), onboard activities, and taxes. Alcoholic beverages, excursions, Wi-Fi, and specialty restaurants come at an additional cost.

How do gratuities work? Are they mandatory?

Yes, gratuities are mandatory and automatically charged to your onboard account. These go to the staff who help make your cruise experience enjoyable.

Do I need a passport or visa to go on a cruise with Royal Holiday?

It depends on your nationality and the cruise itinerary. We recommend checking with the appropriate consulates before you travel to make sure you have all the necessary documentation.

What type of cabin is best for me?

It depends on your budget, how many people are traveling, and your preferences. There are inside cabins, ocean view cabins (with a window), and balcony cabins. Your travel advisor can help you choose the best option.

Is there a dress code?

Yes, but it’s flexible. Casual clothing is fine during the day. In the evenings, some restaurants or events may require more formal attire, depending on the cruise line and destination.

How early should I arrive at the port?

We recommend arriving 3 to 4 hours before departure time. Be sure to check your cruise check-in for your exact boarding time.

Can I bring my own drinks onboard?

No, outside beverages are not allowed. All drinks must be purchased onboard or through special drink packages offered by the cruise line.

What happens if I miss the ship?

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to board or get a refund, as your cabin remains reserved for the entire trip. We strongly recommend being on time for all embarkations, both at the start of the cruise and at each port of call.
